The idea of Dead Man’s Fingers Rum was born at the famous fishmonger Rum & Crab Shack in Cornwall. One of the restaurant’s most-ordered dishes is crab. The animal’s relatively long and finger-like gills are often referred to by connoisseurs as “the fingers of the dead.”
